This stand-alone conference room is designed to be a multi-purpose venue, located on the Lower Level of the Conference Centre. If you’re seeking a room with a pleasant outlook, the Wellington Room is ideal. Boasting views across the marina and River Derwent, it’s one of the few rooms that also has a view to Mount Wellington. 

With an adjacent foyer, the room works well as a stand-alone conference venue for small and medium sized gatherings. For organisers who are seeking a meeting or workshop room, or perhaps an exhibition space as part of a larger convention, the Wellington Room is a prime fit. 

Well suited to cocktail functions and social occasions, this room is afforded plenty of natural light. What’s more it can be halved in size or opened out to full capacity depending on your requirements. Designed as two individual rooms with the option to open as one, talk to us about your floor space requirements. 

You’ll find the Wellington Room located beside the Boardwalk Gallery. It can be accessed both internally and externally with an adjacent undercover portico allowing for easy access. With new curtains, carpet and a recent re-paint, the Wellington Room is ready for your special event.
