Explore Hobart
After arriving in Hobart, take time to explore - taste our cool-climate wines with a visit to vineyards along the Southern Tasmanian Wine Route and discover the perfectly preserved Georgian village of Richmond. See the contemporary artwork on display at The Henry Jones Art Hotel, Australia's first dedicated art hotel, or call in to the galleries and cafes of Salamanca Place. If your stay includes a Saturday, Salamanca Market is a must-see.
Hobart to Freycinet
Head north along the East Coast to the rugged granite peaks of The Hazards in the Freycinet National Park. Take a cruise to see dolphins and seabirds, visit an oyster farm or paddle a sea kayak along the sheltered coastline.

Consider the full-day signature experience Wineglass to Wine Glass - with your guide and a maximum of eight guests, climb to the saddle and descend to walk on the famous Wineglass Bay beach, then cross the peninsula to enjoy a gourmet lunch of local specialties in a secluded open-air pavilion. Explore the beach before enjoying a 30 minute scenic coastal cruise back to Freycinet Lodge.

Freycinet to Launceston
Continue the journey north along the East Coast through Bicheno and St Helens. Head inland through rainforests to Scottsdale to reach the coast at Bridport - tee-off on the new Barnbougle Dunes seaside golf links then drive on to Launceston. Discover the city's many attractions - the exciting new Inveresk Cultural Precinct, the city's beautiful parks and gardens and the Cataract Gorge Reserve.
