Point Revolving Restaurant
The Point Revolving Restaurant
Seventeen floors above the River Derwent, the revolving restaurant at Wrest Point radiates ‘special occasion.’ When the doors open and the view unfolds, you’ll understand why The Point has been a backdrop of memorable dining 40 years over.
This Hobart restaurant is committed to people, produce and place. Our French inspired menu weaves some of Tasmania’s finest ingredients into a dining experience punctuated with theatre and flair. Much like the sound of Crepe Suzettes cooked at your table by our experienced fine dining team.
Just like the rest of Wrest Point Tasmania, your Point dining experience will go beyond your expectations. All this whilst taking in the views of the Tasman Bridge, Mount Wellington and the majestic River Derwent via the revolving mechanism unique to The Point.
If you want to celebrate, spoil those close and mark a new memory, let us set you a table at the top.
Please note - from the 22nd May 2017 Hobart’s first fine-dining and only revolving restaurant will be undergoing a little facelift and will be closed for some TLC. By the end of July (hopefully sooner), she will be returning in all her splendour to fully reflect the iconic status, not to mention 360-degree views across Hobart.
Please also note that our popular High Tea and lunch offerings will also be affected and not offered during our renovations. Our last High Tea and lunch sitting will be May 19 2017. Our last dinner sitting will be Saturday May 20.
Restaurant open times:
Lunch from 12 noon, Friday only
