Temporary closure of venues at Wrest Point: For more information Click here
Tasmanian featherweight Luke “Action” Jackson takes on his hardest career fight to date at his new home, Wrest Point, on 27 April.
Rated 8th in the world by WBO and boasting an impressive 15-0 win-loss professional record, Jackson is within touching distance of fighting for a world title in 2018.
Wrest Point General Manager Dominic Baker said the event would be set up to host 1050 fans for the bout, but that the casino would “move heaven and earth” for a world title shot, including an outdoor bout on the Wrest Point lawns.
FightCard Promotion’s NEXT LEVEL event headlined by Jackson v Argentinian champion Javier Herrera will also feature two Tasmanian titles, which are sure to raise the roof as the local boys give their all in pursuit of the prestigious state title.
