Tasmanian Carlton supporters will have the chance to dine among some of the legends of the game at the 2018 first annual Champions of Carlton tribute dinner in July.
Sharing their stories, Wayne Johnston, Stephen Kernahan, Greg Williams, Anthony Koutoufides and Brendan Fevola will delve into the club’s rich and nostalgic, yet controversial past.
Wrest Point General Manager Dominic Baker said that the event would provide the ultimate experience for die-hard Blues fans.
“If you’re a Carlton supporter or just a lover of football, the opportunity in Tasmania to be up close to such a line-up of champions is rare,” he said.
“It’s Tasmania’s chance to celebrate a game that so many men, women, girls and boys love to watch and play.
“Icons of the game inspire new generations and we’re really proud to be hosting this event at Wrest Point.
“We are seeing growth first-hand at a local level through our partnership with the Tasmanian State League Women and this dinner is another opportunity to advance the development of the game in Tasmania.”
Delivered by Prostar Entertainment, the Champions of Carlton tribute dinner will be held on Saturday, 14 July at 6:30pm, with entertainment and a three course dinner, including beer, wine and soft drinks.
Live and silent auctions will showcase some of the club’s most prestigious memorabilia – offering attendees the exclusive opportunity to take home a piece of club history.
Tickets are available through trybooking.
